Nike Verena Fakiner
Dr. Nike Verena FAKINER has optained her Ph.D degree, entitled “Material Properties and subjective experiences: Gustav Zeiller’s anatomical wax models” at the University Complutense Madrid (UCM). She has been predoctoral fellow at the Centre for the History of the Emotions, Queen Mary University London (QMUL), at the institute History and Philosophy of Science (HPS), Cambridge, and at Max Planck Institute for History of Science (MPI), Berlin. She has worked as museum pedagogue for the Thyssen Bornemisza and Círculo de Bellas Artes, in Madrid and was also assistant curator in the exhibition “SKIN”, supervised by Javier Moscoso for the Wellcome Collection, London, in 2010.
